Nance

The invoices in your inbox, found and filed

A surprising share of finance work starts as an email. Nance reads your Gmail inboxes, pulls out what matters and files it where it belongs.

Every finance process has an unofficial front door: the inbox. Invoices arrive as attachments, as links, as portal notifications. Suppliers announce new bank details in passing. The amount of bookkeeping that begins as an unread email is enormous, and someone has to triage all of it.

Nance plugs into Gmail and does the triage. It finds the documents, follows the links, verifies the requests and hands clean input to the rest of your administration. The inbox keeps receiving everything; it just stops being the place where things get lost.

What Nance automates with Gmail

Invoice retrieval

Purchase invoices arriving by email are detected, extracted and delivered into your accounting flow, every morning, across every inbox you connect.

Missing document search

A payment with no paperwork? Nance searches the mail history, finds the original invoice or requests a copy from the sender.

Supplier email handling

Payment reminders, address changes and updated bank details are recognized, verified against your records and turned into actions instead of unread mail.

Outgoing follow-up

Reminders to customers and requests to suppliers are drafted in your tone and sent from the right mailbox, on schedule.

Inbox organization

Finance mail gets labeled and routed consistently, so the shared inbox stops being a place where documents go missing.

Portal invitation handling

Emails that merely announce an invoice in some portal are recognized for what they are, and Nance goes and fetches the actual document.

Connect Gmail to Exact Online, Twinfield, Moneybird & Xero

Most Gmail connectors are data pipes: they copy fields on a schedule and stop there. Nance is the connection and the colleague in one. It reads Gmail, applies your rules and does the actual finance work in your accounting package, with approvals where you want them and every action logged.

Access and security

  • Scoped access that you grant per connection
  • Revocable at any time, without our help

Frequently asked questions

Which inboxes should we connect?

Typically the shared finance inboxes and any address suppliers send invoices to. Nance works across several mailboxes at once, which is usually where documents fall between the cracks.

Does Nance read all our email?

It works within the scope you give it: specific mailboxes or labels, with access you can revoke at any time. Every email it acts on is logged.

Can Nance send email on our behalf?

Only the kinds you approve, in templates and a tone you set. You can keep any category, like customer reminders, on manual approval.

We use Google Workspace with many users. How does this fit?

Nance connects to designated mailboxes through the Gmail API with scoped OAuth access, set up in minutes by your Workspace admin.
