Does Nance replace Xero?

No. Xero stays your accounting system and your source of truth. Nance is the agent working inside it, doing the reading, matching and booking a person would otherwise do by hand.

Does Nance post directly into my organisation?

Only within the rules you set. You decide which actions run automatically and which wait for approval. Every action is logged, so you can always see what was done and why.

How does Nance connect to Xero?

Through the official Xero API, with its own connection and scoped permissions. Nothing to install, and access can be revoked at any moment.

We work with an external accountant. Does that still work?

Yes. Your accountant keeps their access and their role. They tend to notice the difference mainly in how complete the administration is when they open it.
