Nance

Put Microsoft 365 to work for finance

Your documents, spreadsheets and files live across SharePoint, OneDrive and Excel. Nance reads them, files what matters and keeps the working files current, so finance stops hunting for the source.

In most companies on Microsoft 365, the real finance archive is scattered across the suite: an invoice in a SharePoint library, a budget in an Excel workbook, a signed contract in someone's OneDrive, a statement attached to a Teams message. Finance knows the document exists somewhere; finding it, filing it and keeping the working spreadsheets current is the part that quietly eats the week.

Nance works that layer. It connects to your Microsoft 365 through the Graph API, finds and files the documents finance needs, reads the contracts behind payments, and keeps the Excel working files in step with the administration. The suite stays where your files live. Nance is the colleague who keeps them found, filed and current, with every action logged.

What Nance automates with Microsoft 365

Documents found and filed

Invoices, contracts and statements in SharePoint and OneDrive are recognized, retrieved and filed where finance expects them, instead of waiting to be forwarded.

Excel kept current

Budgets, schedules and working files in Excel are read and updated by Nance, so the numbers in the workbook track the administration instead of drifting.

Contracts as context

The agreement behind a payment is pulled from the document library and checked before booking, so terms and amounts rest on the source.

Missing document search

For a payment with no paperwork, Nance searches the libraries and retrieves the original, instead of leaving a gap for someone to chase.

Reports where your team works

Monthly reports and board files are assembled into the formats your team already opens, ready for your review and edit.

Consistent filing

Finance documents land in the same place with the same naming every time, so the shared drive stops being where files go missing.

Connect Microsoft 365 to Exact Online, Twinfield, Moneybird & Xero

Most Microsoft 365 connectors are data pipes: they copy fields on a schedule and stop there. Nance is the connection and the colleague in one. It reads Microsoft 365, applies your rules and does the actual finance work in your accounting package, with approvals where you want them and every action logged.

Access and security

  • Scoped access that you grant per connection
  • Revocable at any time, without our help

Frequently asked questions

How does Nance connect to Microsoft 365?

Through the Microsoft Graph API with scoped permissions on the sites, libraries and mailboxes you choose, set up by your Microsoft 365 admin in minutes. Access is revocable at any time.

Does this overlap with the Outlook connection?

They complement each other. Outlook covers the mail front door; Microsoft 365 covers the documents, spreadsheets and files in SharePoint, OneDrive and Excel. Connect either or both.

Does Nance change our files?

Only where you allow it, like updating a working spreadsheet. Reading and filing are the default; anything that writes back stays within the scope you set, and every action is logged.

Is this a replacement for our document management?

No. Microsoft 365 stays your system for documents and files. Nance is the colleague who finds, files and reads them so the finance work around them gets done.
